Talitha Thread Co. takes its name from Mark 5:41. Jesus takes the hand of Jairus's daughter — a girl everyone had written off as gone — and says, “Talitha cumi,” which is, being interpreted, “little girl, arise.” The word He spoke over her was arise.
This brand is built on that word: for everyone rising from something — grief, addiction, a diagnosis, a dead season — this is apparel that says the story isn't over.

Our mission is simple: apparel that carries the verse that carried you — made to start conversations and call people back to life. Every design is a rising story: a verse or a word someone can point to and say, “that's where I got up.” Every product page prints the full verse and its reference, because around here the listing itself is a small devotional moment.
How it's made
Every piece is printed when you order it — garment-dyed tees, hoodies, zip jackets, and embroidered beanies, made one at a time by our production partners and shipped straight to you. Verses are set only from public-domain translations (KJV and WEB), in a reverent serif with the citation right beneath, the way it should be.
